- The fingers open by squeezing the ends of the holder
- The bottom of the holder includes a back plate that adds support to the device being held by the mount

- The spine plate contains the universal AMPS and 1.5" x 2" hole patterns
- Height dimensions: minimum with top and bottom plates is 5.25" and maximum with top and bottom plates is 6.0"
- The top and bottom plates can be removed for larger devices
- Spine plate dimensions: 3" W x 3" H
- Using short-arm side clamps: maximum depth is 0.75", minimum width is 1.25" and maximum width is 3.0"
- Using medium-arm side clamps: maximum depth is 1.25", minimum width is 1.5" and maximum width is 3.5"
- Using long-arm side clamps: maximum depth is 1.6", minimum width is 2.25" and maximum width is 3.5"
